Jaffa Cake the Holy Book: The Creation of the Seedless Orange

In the beginning there was a kitchen. Out of the darkness the Lord Jaffa said "Let there be kitchen appliances." And there was they sprung up out of the work tops and tiled floors, they were of all kinds and styles each there to do its purpose. Some produced great heat and he called them Ovens others moved at great speeds and he called them Whisks and Blenders. This was the First Day.

On the Second Day the Lord Jaffa said "Let there be things of substance to make my creations, let there be ingredients." And there was, Bags of Flour, Boxes of Eggs, Bars of Plain Chocolate, Bags of Sugar, Orange Juice and Gelling Agent all appeared ready to be used to craft the Lord Jaffa's ultimate creation. This was the Second Day.

On the Third Day the Lord Jaffa said "Let them be made!" And the power of his voice commanded the ingredients and the appliances to work in harmony to create his ultimate creation, The Jaffa Cake. As the Jaffa Cake stood there mystified by this new world, the Lord Jaffa saw what he had created with its crisp chocolate and tangy jelly and knew that it was good. This was the Third Day.

On the Fourth Day the Lord Jaffa said "Let there be a place for the Jaffa Cake to be safe and happy." And so there was this was the Plate of Snacks in the Middle of the Universe where the Lord Jaffa provided for the Jaffa Cake as long as he did not venture into the Cave of the Knowledge of Truth and False. This was the Fourth Day.

So the Jaffa Cake was content and happy in the Pate of Snacks. The Lord Jaffa rested as he saw all was good and so the Jaffa Cake came into being.
